I am! And I love my India because it is a place where one of the most ancient civilizations flourished.

India is also known worldwide for its many gods and their rich history and influence on life, even in modern times.

And who can forget its exotic spices that are famous all over the world.

Do you do yoga every day? Well, do you know which country originated yoga? If you said India, then you are definitely correct! Yoga was introduced by Patanjali who was a reserved sage in ancient India.

Do you have any idea which country invented chess? Well, it was India! You won’t believe right? Well that is true!

Do you know who introduced the concept of zero. Again it is India.

Our ‘Bollywood’ is one of the largest movie industries in the world.

India is home to one of the 7 wonders of the world- TajMahal. Your tour to India will be incomplete if you don’t go to TajMahal. Seriously!

Indian dances are recognized worldwide.

Sanskrit language that is still spoken and taught in India is the oldest living language in the world.

Do you like to play Snakes and Ladders? Well, I love playing this game! This is a very interesting and fun game! And guess what India introduced Snakes and Ladders game!

Have you ever heard about Nalanda University? Nope right? Nalanda University was the greatest center of learning in ancient India! People from all over the world used to go there and study. But then sadly there was a big fire in 1193 and because of that fire the university had been destroyed. But guess what Nalanda University was the first great university to be built in recorded history!

And last but not the least, Buddhism and Jainism are two major religions that were established in India in 500 and 600 BC, respectively.

I really love my India. What about you? Do leave a comment.
